How to download and open the free SVG files

Click on the link and select the dinosaur file your want to download. There are three dinosaurs, and each has been saved as an SVG, DXF and PNG.

Most computers automatically open folders when downloaded; double-clicking on a file should reveal it in your image viewer.

To use your SVG as a cut file, you need to import the file into Cricut design space or silhouette designers edition.

You can also open SVG files in adobe illustrator and Corel Draw to make further edits to the SVG designs if you so wish.

How to cut an SVG using vinyl on your Cricut

First, upload your SVG file into Design Space. Then adjust the color and size of your image to fit within the canvas.

Finally, select vinyl as your material and choose ‘Cut’ from the menu bar. Before you know it, you’ll be ready to place your vinyl onto whatever surface you are working on and watch as beautiful art flows forth! Let’s get creative!

Start cutting a vinyl SVG by opening the SVG file in Design Space.

Select ‘make it’ to adjust size, placement and more before sending it to the machine.

Next, click ‘continue’ until you reach the Cutting Mat Preview section – here’s where you’ll select which type of material you would like to cut and load into your machine.

Finally, hit ‘Go’ and watch as the SVG cuts into your vinyl perfectly!
